BFD eco old version

MessageAuthor

Hi all, I have a MIDI drum file I want to bounce to multiple individual audio tracks. I can't manage to set this up, Is there a restriction in BFD eco? I tried to do as in following video: Reaper indeed creates the individual tracks, and I can choose to route the BFD mixer channels to external outputs (routing to channels 1-22 from the plugin routing matrix), but signals don't show up in my reaper mixer. What I also tried earlier; Just route the kick channel via an insert to track 6, snare channel to track 7 etc... Signals show up on my mixer, but I'm not able to record them!!!! What did I do wrong? I can still record my hardware outputs to my other DAW, but I don't like this idea because of too cumbersome... Many thanks in advance, Benny Van De Locht

Give this a try: (a) right-click in the TCP area below any existing tracks, (b) select "Insert virtual instrument on new track", (c) select BFD Eco, (d) click [Yes] on the "Build Routing confirmation" window; that will create tracks for all of the audio outputs from BFD Eco, Now you will have BFD Eco on on track, where the MIDI will go, automatically Armed for Recording from all Inputs, sending the MIDI to BFD Eco, and several tracks for the audio outputs from BFD Eco. Within BFD Eco, load your drums or drum kit, adjust them and set the routing for each Mixer channel to a particular audio output pair. ... Big pic: To record the audio output, RecArm the separate audio tracks and set them to "Record Output" (right-click the RecArm button for the context menu. Then click Record ...

Good Oh! You would need to RecArm the audio tracks too, I missed that bit out and have now added it in.
