RE: Allen: upgrading mobo and processor

Well, I successfully swapped mobos and processors. I had to do a little repair deal on xp because it wouldn't let me dual boot...it went straight to 98. Anyway, the 002r is plugged in, powered up, protools installed. The lights on the rack unit work, except the 1394 light on the front is not on (it's on in the back). When I click on Protools, the system freezes...mouse and everything. Every other program works. I've unistalled and reinstalled the actual ProTools program and the rack unit/drivers 3 times now. Still doesn't change. Any ideas? I am using the SIIG 3 port firewire card approved by Digi and it works great with everything else. Thanks, Jeremy
