You should be fine. Just make sure you get as much memory as you can fit into it and also a good firewire drive for your audio files. There are people doing good music and getting 24 tracks with the MBox and an Emac, so the 002 and new Imac should kill em. L-Fire EMO till its over

Someone pointed out that the iMac has no L3 cache. Will this effect proformance?
