Has anyone had THIS problem?

When I try to open Protools 6.01 ( on digi 001 ) for the first time, the screen goes dark after loading all the DAE, etc etc, and says " You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button." I've just switched from OS9.2.2 to OS10.3.3 and upgraded my G4 400 processor to an OWC G4 1.3Ghz. I realize there are many new factors here, but if anyone has some insight, my life would get much easier.

If you're running 10.3.3 you'll need to upgrade PT to 6.2.3 --- c

Most definitely upgrade to 6.2.3

Same thing happened to me when I moved to OSX. No emergency - just upgrade ProTools LE, and you'll be fine.

a few times over the past few years i have experienced this problem. 1st it was releated to a usb hub problem. another time to scsi card conflict. i think that generally, you need to find the source of this, and generally it seems to be persistant until resolved. given that it happens when Pt is loading? i would question firewire, the processor upgrade commpatiblity, and or usb. The latest version of PtLe i believe officially supports the 001 and your config
