Pro Tools LE 7.1 - On The Move

Hi. Is there any way of running PTLE without its hardware connected? Are there any kind of drivers that can be bought for the iLok to emulate a hardware device? It would be amazingly handy, since people then wouldn't have to take all their hardware with them when they're on the move (i.e. they could do some editing and basic mixing with headphones on while on the train, etc). Thanks, onlyone-jc.

Sounds like a good idea. I can't believe nobody's ever mentioned that before.

As Shawn (sarcastically) puts it, this is a big topic around here. Right now, the closest thing you can get to "no hardware" is using M-Powered and the M-Audio Transit interface, or for LE users, the Mbox is all there is.
