Welcome back to Doom9's forum after an 18 month absence! You don't mention if your VHS deck supports stereo. If it does, all you need is a "Y" connector - which will have 2 RCA connections for right and left audio tracks, and a single stereo plug that fits into the audio line-in connection on your PC. If your VHS deck is mono, you'll need the same sort of connector, that has a single RCA connector to the deck, and a stereo plug that goes into your audio line-in connection on your PC. Of course, this is also a "Y" connection in that both right and left audio connections on the micro-plug share the single RCA phono plug on your VHS deck, but it will look like a single cable. If you're not sure exactly what you need, see your local PC retailer for assistance.
