infa... waveburner allows you to manipulate id's as you like...... essential for compiling finished cd for pressing also.... isrc codes is not supported in toast..... again essential..... jam has the ability to make crossfades and fades but (by far) not at easily as WB toast is fine for burning a track to the a&r guy ..... but that's it (as far as audio is concerned) "Apple is really dragging ass for a OSX version on this one." apple has nothing to do with porting WB to os x..... this is entirely up to emagic..... someone said that they will integrate it as a part of logic..... if that's true i'd rather buy a pc for burning ..... as much as i hate pc's i hate logic even more....

zr-rock took the words right out of mouh. WaveBurner Pro is for mastering. If you're just compiling songs, Jam is OK. But, if you are adding ID's and easy custom fades, WaveBurner Pro is the answer.

Wow,,, it sounds cool,,, exactly what I've been lookin' for once I come across the (very few) limitations of Jam... But I do not use 9 anymore, and as stated earlier by MarvinBass, is it true that it only is for OS 9 right now ?? If so ,, that SUCKS........... I guess I'll have to wait.....
