Cross Platform Transfer Session

Hi I have a problem to transfer my windows LE session to a Mac TDM protools I have cick the enforce Mac/PC button , and still can't open in the TDM system. Can somebody's help me? Thanks a lot Dennis

Which versions of PT are on the LE and TDM systems? What exactly is your problem? The files aren't found or the session won't open.. what message do you get? Rail

Dear Rail My LE in PC is 5.3.1 and the Mac TDM is 5.1.1, I have try to save copy as a lower version but still not work.Thanks Dennis

..and what happens on the Mac? Does the session file have the right PT icon? How are you getting the files to the Mac? Rail

Dear Rail The Mac didn't show a right icon, and I'm transfer the session by the nternal network. Dennis

Dear Rail The other problem I face is the LE can't display the LTC Timecode , just bars and mins, can it change to timecode display, because we are a post-production house most of the time is work with timecode. Thnaks a lot Dennis

Hmm.. you probably have to go into the Mac.. Control Panel and in File Exchange associate PTS with Pro Tools. No - LE can't display SMPTE (there is one work around if the TDM session is saved with it showing SMPTE - then the sub counter in LE will display SMPTE.. but if the nudge/grid or sub counter are changed in the session.. you can't revert back to SMPTE).
