G4s with OSX 10.3.5 and PT 6.7

So will 6.7 work on a G4 with OSX 10.3.5 I got shut out with 6.4 and OSX 10.3.5 So if it works I have no problem upgrading for $75 thanks.........

What do you mean by you "got shut out"?

It works for like a half hour to an hour and the software just quit, or gives me a firewire error. I'm running a G4 duel 1gb 1.25ram 002 rack I have a firedrive but I stopped using it do to problems and switched to an IDE drive

Make sure you upgrade your FW drive / bridge firmware. Check with the manufacturer. The stories say the combo is OK overall despite the lack of Digi approval. But then there's always 6.7, if you can wait, for the $ you can be certified...with a first gen. update. MR

I run PT LE 6.4 Mbox on 10.3.5 with an ibook G3/500 and record to the internal drive. There are obvious limitations due to my computer's age+specs but I've done some pretty dense mixes and worked for a long hours using this setup. Never any problems! Don't be afriad to download the 10.3.5 update. The firewire firmware does scare me on the other hand. I've not yet used any firewire devices with my current setup.

I think at this point I'm going to try to reinstall PT and update to 6.7 thanks for the input.......
