Anyone using a Macbook Pro successfully?

I have a quad Mac pro 3.0 and a Macbook pro 2.16. I was thinking of getting rid of my tower because I just don't need two computers. I was wondering if anyone is using a macbook pro successfully as their main computer. I was going to get the E-SATA expander and use two E-SATA drives. I am running 7.1 and will be using BFD as well. Thanks in advance for any help.

Found this online - looks interesting but much research has to be done. You can also get one with two Firewire ports. peas

Same here Im using a 17" 2.33 Duo 2 with M-Box 2, Pro Tools LE 7.3.1 cs2 and OSX 10.4.9, and everything is groovey baby......with the exception of Quick Time 7.1.6 which I know boat loads of people have had problems ever since updating to QT 7.1.6, but thats not just Pro Tools users, it seems to be across the Mac-World by the looks of things, apple may have abit of botty licking to do
