My old man had a black 1983 760 GLE with these wheels. once I get my brick I'd be seriously tempted to get these ones. What are they called and are they difficult to source?
'Sirius', 6"x15", ET25mm, 5x108 bolt holes. Standard on '82-'84 760's only. They were very common secondhand about 5-10 years ago, so much so you couldn't give them away. Now, however, seeing as most of the early 760's have been scrapped and those left are being kept as future classics they are hard to get hold of.
... and that's not me getting in the passenger side, it is my (then, May 05) 82 year old father, who will, by the by, be 85 this Xmas day; he is called Noel. C.A.
Its a good photo, your Dad looks fit on the photo. My dad was 86 in June and has recently given up the car. Like your 144 the colour suits the car well and the wheels set it off. Thanks
