Any way to leave comments/text in reaper?

I'm trying to make notes for myself about the tracks I'm setting up, and what might need to be used for what. I could use a separate text editor, but I'd like the notes to load with the reaper file to minimize hassle and confusion. I was looking for a VST that might work, or a JS, but I just can't find any. Any ideas or suggestions?

Welcome to the forums! Hit ALT+Enter for the project settings page. There's also a "Notes" tab on it. For per track notes check Schwa's notepad plugin . There are probably one or two more ways to leave notes in Reaper.

reaper 3 has item notes. you can insert empty items on the timeline and display text and pictures in them.
