Blimey that seemed like a lifetime but it's great to have the old place back up and fully functioning. So many puzzles needing solved and really there's no place else up to the task !
HA; ...funny you should mention that...it also took me two attempts to log in again...HA! AG; ..."there's no place else up to the task" - I have to dissagree here...Brickboard.com is also a very good English vintage Volvo Forum...ask Gerry (48POP) ...in any case, it good to be back, and: Greetings from Connecticut!
True enough Ron, the Brickboard is a goldmine but i always find the reply system confuses me as they don't necessarily appear under the previous post. And it's sometimes easy to miss an important response. Does that read right? you know what i mean hopefully. Anyway i meant it in more of a no place like home way since i've had so many pearls of wisdom from these pages.
ag; I know what you mean...placement of a response on the BB forum is a function of where YOU put it in the string of responses, and not strictly sequential as here...this manner does allow responses to specific posts in a string, just by virtue of the fact that you can place them right under the one your responding to...like a tree, even though the thread has already moved on...just takes some getting used to...the (NEW) tag helps...there's no place like HOME though... Greets!
Hi Ron, I agree that whilst the Brickboard is indeed an excellent resource (I registered quite a while back), and the posters there are very helpful & highly knowledgeable, I find the forum software itself highly infuriating compared to the many other forums that I use. I will however give it another go in the hope that this time I'll have more patience! Btw - I emailed a while back about some of your Sw-Em kits. What's the best way to contact you about these? Cheers, Paul
Paul; If I didn't answer back (sorry!) it likely means I didn't see the email...if I see them, I answer them!...so just try again...making sure not to use any variation of: \ / I aG@r@ in the subject line, so that the Spamfilter doesn't chew it up and digest it... Greets!
