when using custom buttons i notice the gray overlay from reaper, it also creates borders left en right of the button (see image) how do i get rid of the overlay so my buttons are the same color as i made them?
I'm a little confused. I see button "play regio" which looks fine and area "PLAY REGION 1" which doesn't. What is it? Label, buttons? And what *.png are we talking about?
thanks for replying, the play regio button is a custom reaper toolbar button made with reaper. the play region 1 button is a toolbarbuton with a custom .png made with axel_ef's buttonmaker that last .png should be white, but there seems to be a gray overlay that reaper puts over it. you can see the left and right side where there is no overlay and the white comes through.

thanks, it looks ok in the toolbar-editor but not in the actual toolbar.

The "bad" guy is the composite_toolbar_overlay.png. :) It works like this: There are two folders for toolbar icons. The reaper/data/toolbar_icons is shared folder among every theme. The second one is the theme folder zipped into theme itself. Its toolbar icons are just for the particular theme and their name has to start with toolbar_. The composite_toolbar_overlay.png in the shared folder doesn't do anything. But the composite_toolbar_overlay.png in theme folder does. It overlays icons which are changed through menu Customize menus/toolbars -> Icon -> Change Icon -> Select toolbar icon. You can delete composite_toolbar_overlay.png in particular theme or you can change the file extension to composite_toolbar_overlay.png.off for example.
Hello all, I am having an issue with an overlay of some sort as well. I am using the Apollo 4 theme. I have made my own toolbar buttons and some have rounded corners. When I load them up I can still see a background of some sort in the corners. I can't find a toolbar_composite_overlay.png in the Apollo 4 folder and the general toolbar_composite_overlay doesn't do anything. Where do I need to look?
