passenger heated seat

hi my lovely girlfriend has just informed me now that the heated passenger seat dont work is there a common fault with them thats easy to fix or is it a new seat job

TBH, I wouldn't even have considered putting mine on in this weather. As they're thermostatically controlled will they operate now that it's milder? Otherwise, check the wiring under the seat - it's prone to damage. The element itself is non-replaceable as it's an integral part of the seat.

most 850s ive owned had faulty heated seats down to broken wiring underneath,,,

well to answer the questions when she told me it was only 5c out side and mine (drivers) was working my a**e was on fire lol i never really use mine but she likes to be toasty warm all the time thank god the heaters are interpendent lol

I expect you will find the wiring to the thermostat has been pulled out...You can remove the thermostat from the seat base and refit/renew the spade connector... Cheers Jod
